মানুষের জীবনের চাহিদা, অধিকার যখন রাষ্ট্র প্রভুরা অন্ধকারে ঠেলে দিতে চেষ্টা চালায়,ধর্মের নামে মানুষ কে ভাগ   চায়, তখনই মনে পড়ে ইতিহাসের সেই সব কথা, যেখানে মানুষ বোধ আর চেতনায় দিয়ে পৃথিবীর দেশে দেশে লিখেছেন নতুন ইতিহাস।

নাটক করতে করতে সন্দ্বীপের প্রেম হয় দলেরই অভিনেত্রী সুতপার সাথে। বাবার ঐশ্বর্য  ত্যাগ করে সুতপা ঘর বাঁধে । তারপরই পায় ক্ষমতা র হাতছানি। সন্দ্বীপের সাথে হয় আদর্শ বনাম ক্ষমতা দখলের লড়াই। পথ দেখাবে কি সক্রেটিস ?

Sandip falls in love with Sutapa, a co-actress of the group. Her father is a wealthy person. Scarifying wealth Sutapa embraces Sandip and gets married. Just after that Sutapa experiences the taste of power. A bitter relationship encompassess Sandip and Sutapa regarding contradiction between the ideologies and capturing power. Here comes Socrates again to usher the light.
